BananaBro Mid Valley Megamall

I recently visited BananaBro for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised. I never expected the food to taste this good; it could easily compete with dishes from traditional Mamak restaurants. The meals are similar to Nasi Kandar, and the curry gravy was delicious. Plus, they offer free refills of rice, gravy, and papadom as long as you order the correct meals. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly. Overall, I’m really looking forward to dining there again.

Overall quality is great! The people here is very kind and hospitality is excellent! I had 13 ringgit meal. It comes with the 4 kind of curries along with the other appetiser served with rice on banana leaf. The staff comes to your table until you feel stuffed. I will try their desert next time if I still have room to eat.

Had a late lunch at Banana Bro Mid Valley and was really impressed with the service. Special thanks to Nabi for his friendliness, attentiveness, and warm hospitality. Even though it was off-peak hours, he made sure we were well taken care of and served with a smile. Truly appreciate the great service—it made our meal so much more enjoyable. Keep it up, Nabi!

Very friendly servers - we ordered at the entrance and were seated almost immediately after. They currently have a dinner-time Buy 1 Free 1 promo, so the place was packed with a queue outside. There’s a sign at the entrance mentioning they’re short-staffed, and you can tell they’re doing their best to cope with the rush. Food took a while to arrive (likely due to the crowd), but portions were generous and the different curries were flavourful. The fried squid came cold, but thankfully not rubbery. Fried bitter gourd? Amazing - crispy and hot! We asked for dried chili, but it never arrived. Papadom only came towards the end of our meal. Overall, it was okay. I’d suggest either hiring more staff or pausing the promo until the team can handle the volume better. Cleanliness could also improve - our table was stained when we sat down, and the floor had quite a bit of fallen food.

I always wanted to eat at BananaBros and finally today, I got the chance with my two besties. The food was so delicious! The curry so pekat melekat, and super tasty. My fav were the pumpkin and the petola Goreng. The staffs here are super friendly and very helpful. I will not forget them. Joel, Arthur, Alex and Rana were very nice to us. The staff here were super friendly, which made the whole thing feel pretty chill. Food was good! I really liked the side dishes—they were full of flavor and made the meal more fun. But to be honest, the overall taste was a bit salty for me. Not a big deal, just depends on your taste I guess. It’s a clean, casual spot—nothing fancy, but great if you want something quick and satisfying. Might go back to try other stuff next time.
